High-grade carbon handles high pressure and quickly dissipates the kinetic energy of a running fish into thermal energy. Protecting your drag is critical especially in freezing temperatures, sand, grit, and salt. In order to keep costs affordable we combined CNC precision machining to exacting tolerances on our drag system to deliver the lowest cost sealed drag reel in the market and combine proprietary diecast technology to the frame. Cold Forged 6061 aerospace grade aluminum is then anodized black for surface protection, corrosion resistance, and durability—for a lifetime.
